PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

The Product Development Manager will develop, manage, promote, and support product development, including developing new products and maintaining existing products to meet industry standards.

General Duties:

  • Continuously ensure the quality of Corridor products to include, but not limited to, the general look, formatting, general logistics and design and make improvements as appropriate.
  • Keep current with regulatory and compliance issues that impact our industry. 
  • Propose and develop recommended policy manual and other product changes.  Develop new products as industry needs change.
  • Manage product development process from inception to publication.
  • Adhere to the Products budget.
  • Develop presentations/webinars to be submitted for consideration to state and national association conferences, as appropriate.
  • Develop and/or facilitate webinars to be presented and hosted by Corridor.
  • Maintain relationship with accrediting bodies as it relates to policy manual management.
  • Participate in the product sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Assist, as requested, in eLearning course review, development and content updates.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective operations of the Education service-line as requested by the VP of Education.
  • Oversee product integrity and customer service, addressing customer needs and improving on customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in cross-sell opportunities of all Corridor services.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, post graduate preferred; minimum of 5 years recent experience in the Home Care industry.

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills; strong line-editing, copy-editing and proofreading skills

Project Management: Communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget; coordinates projects; develops project plans; manages project team activities

Written Communication: Edits work for spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data effectively; Varies writing style to meet needs; Writes clearly and informatively

HOMECARE CODING TEAM LEADER

The Homecare Coding Team Leader leads a team of coders under the direction of the Coding Manager.  Activities will include but not limited to working with the coding manager to establish and maintaining company and agency workflow process related coding activities, ensuring productivity measures are being met, resolving disputes with agencies as needed, work with any external vendors to ensure standardization of processes and working with QA team to ensure quality standards are being met. The Team Leader must be able to function with a high degree of independence and considerable discretion

General Duties:

  • Carrying out and attaining the mission and the goals of the business
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of the coding team
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards
  • Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability
  • Maintain coding guidelines 
  • With the coding manager, coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
  • Lead employees using a performance review; and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
  • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Responding to agency enquiries and complaints under the leadership of the coding manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • Homecare Coding certified (HCS-D, HCS-O, or BCHH-C) or ability to obtain within a year.
  • Medical coding experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.

CLIENT COORDINATOR 

The Client Coordinator will be managing all client Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accesses for the Corridor Coding service. They will also be handling client’s access to HHCodePro as needed. Coordinates with the Implementation and Operations team in regards to identifying staff needing access and works with each agency on obtaining access. They will also be responsible for keeping HHCodePro up to date with each staff’s access per agency. The employee must be able to function with a high degree of independence, high attention of detail, follow up on access and communicate effectively and appropriately. This position is located at our Bismarck, ND location.

• Work with Implementation team to understand new client’s needs
• Work with Operations to determine access needs and timeframes
• Work with client counterparts to request, follow up and deactivate accesses when necessary
• Work with IT to determine if additional IT support is needed during access set up
• Work with Corridor staff and IT to ensure access is properly functioning
• Responsible for creating an instruction document per agency when requesting access
• Follow a streamlined approach for requesting access internally, so the team follows the same process each time regardless of agency or EMR
• Establish relationships with current clients to continuously improve the customer experience and overall solution
• Participate in special projects on an as needed basis

HOMECARE CODER / DOCUMENTATION REVIEWER

Responsible for properly identifying and sequencing diagnoses and review of OASIS with regard to appropriateness, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations and organization policy. Applies current coding guidelines, implements regulatory changes, obtains additional and/or clarification of documentation from physicians and clinical staff via clerical admin department to assure documentation supports diagnoses coded. The employee must be able to function with a high degree of independence and considerable discretion.

  • Conduct quality assurance documentation reviews of assigned records to include but not limited to:

o   OASIS for documentation inconsistencies and accuracy

o   Plan of treatment review for accurate reflection of patient’s condition and skilled interventions

o   Medication profile for relevance to interventions, goals and coding sequencing

o   Appropriate physician’s orders

o   Care planning as it relates to assessment and regulatory requirements

  • Conduct reviews of coding and provide recommendations for appropriate coding based on current coding guidelines
  • Provide written feedback related to documentation and coding
  • Conduct other clinical record audits as assigned
  • Prepare reports as requested
  • Maintain proficiency/knowledge of OASIS Data set items, home care reimbursement and compliance as related to OASIS regulations and requirements
  • Maintain proficiency/knowledge of coding guidelines
  • Maintain Coding Certification
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of software systems utilized by various agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to relate well in remote environment under the supervision of coding managers
  • Ability to mentor and/or train other coders
  • Flexibility as may be asked to work on additional projects

Other:

  • Flexible work schedule although needs to be able to respond to supervisor’s request in a timely manner.
  • May be required to attend mandatory scheduled meetings/training despite flexible work schedule. 
  • Worksite for this position would either be from personal home office or one of several physical office locations across the United States.

DATA ANALYST

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for recurring reporting to inform business leaders as needed
  • Work closely with team members and management to prioritize business initiatives and information needs
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques (as appropriate) to project future outcomes across the business
  • Assist to develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize efficiency, data quality and ease of access
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain consolidation processes to support specific initiatives


    Qualifications:

    • Exceptional communication skills

    • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects across a variety of stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of analyst experience in a professional environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Information Science or similar background
  • Technical expertise working with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Experience with the Business Intelligence platform like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI

 

A Plus:

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Medical informatics
