Celebrating National Home Care & Hospice Month During November

The month of November is devoted to celebrating the millions of nurses, home care aides, therapists, and social workers who make a huge difference in the lives of patients and their families they serve.
According to Peggy Patton, Vice President of Education Services at Corridor, “Having first-hand experience with both hospice, for my Dad and home health services for my Mom, I can attest to the positive impact both services have made on my family. Caring, considerate and highly skilled professionals provided my parents and my siblings the help we needed to navigate their health care crisis.”
These heroic caregivers are essential to the success of our health care system and in homes across the nation, especially since in-home care proves to be the future for the U.S. health care system.
“Home care is the most efficient and cost effective means to deliver quality care and improved patient outcomes, which is what each of us want for our families and ourselves, said Peggy Patton.”
Although these caregivers should be celebrated every day throughout the year, Corridor wants to ensure that you make the month of November extra special by honoring all the home care agencies, workers, and volunteers for all they do.
