Legislation Introduces Telehealth Reimbursement

On February 3, 2016, nine bipartisan members of Congress announced legislation in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives that would increase Medicare telehealth services and remote patient monitoring. CONNECT for Health ACT removed Medicare’s restrictions placed on telehealth and promoted the following the development of new tools to make remote patient monitoring more accessible and affordable.
