Posted on Friday, May 29, 2015 8:53 AM

CMS plans to launch a new provider website to track enforcement against Medicare providers over potentially fraudulent claims. The Provider Compliance Reporting System would be accessible on ProviderMedicare.gov which has yet to be launched. At this time, CMS does have systems in place to review claims, however, none of these existing systems allow for a comprehensive review of Medicare’s activity with CMS and its contractors. The new system will allow Medicare review contractors and CMS staff to view a provider profiles. Provider profiles will also show claims that have been flagged for review. Providers and the public will have access to review information on the new system. Click here to read more.
