Congress Cosponsor Support for the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act Has Reached a New Milestone

NAHC remains overjoyed with the progress of the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act of 2015 (S. 579/H.R. 1342). NAHC announced that Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) has become the 50th senator to support the bill.

The bill continues to receive support and gain cosponsors in the House of Representatives. The following five new representatives joined in co-sponsoring the bill:
• Fortenberry (R-NE-1)
• Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21)
• Lee Zeldin (R-NY-1)
• Jason Smith (R-MO-8)
• John Conyers (D-MI-13).

The total number of cosponsors in the Senate is at 50, however 51 is needed for the majority. The total number in the House of Representatives is 183.
