American Medical Association Opposes Merger of CVS and Aetna

The American Medical Association urged the U.S. Justice Department this week to stop the merger between CVS and Aetna.
The AMA says that the $69 billion-dollar merger would lead to increased costs for prescription drugs. They believe that the deal would increase concentration in 10 of the 34 Medicare Part D regional markets.
