More Regulations Coming for Hospice Agencies

According to Bill Dombi, President of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC), and Alan Schabes, Esq. with Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, a health care law practice, hospice providers are likely to see an increase in regulation pressure. They predict the OIG will be cracking down on fraud cases, just as they have been with home care providers.
Schabes listed some of the top compliance risks so that hospices can stay ahead of the issue.
